Exciting news for the Z&R Taekwon-do students Master Rhee has agreed to come and take the Saturday afternoon class and stay for the social gathering we are proposing on the 12th June. I think we should rename the ‘social gathering’ as ‘an audience with a Master and your Instructors’ although I promise there will be no singing from us! All joking aside this is an opportunity to train with the UKTA’s newest Master, this will be different from a seminar because at the seminars the Master’s are given things to cover that have been identified association wide. I hope everyone was going to attend but will make an extra effort now, please spread the word.

There will be no classes from 31st May to 8th June inclusive. The Tayport grading will be taking place on Tuesday 15th June, class will continue as normal after the class. The £20 grading fee will apply to those grading. Saturday 12th June everyone invited to attend the Saturday training followed by a social coffee afternoon for everyone to get to know one another.

Well Done to Phil Hulse, Gemma Matheson for achieving 9th kup and Stuart Rogers for achieving 7th kup at the recent grading taken by First Grand Master Rhee and Master Rhee.

Gemma and Phil you can proudly say that the legendary First Grand Master, Father of European Taekwon-do and his son, Master Rhee, took your first grading and you passed!

The Saturday 27th March class has been moved to Sunday 28th due to a competition being held at Ward Gym on the Saturday. It will still be at Ward Road Gym 2-4pm. Looking forward to seeing you there.

There will be no class Saturday 20th March as Miss Tate and her team of ‘Striking Kickers’ are breaking out from Perth Prison to raise money for the Black Watch Heritage fund. Mr Dolan and a team from Z&R Taekwon-do are going to the Satrosphere Science Centre in Aberdeen to help explain the Science behind Taekwon-do. Next class Saturday 27th March 2-5pm all welcome, cost £5

This is due to the Black Belt seminar and grading taking place during this weekend.

This Saturday’s seminar will be conducted by Senior Master Williamson. Registration for the seminar will be at 10am, in Ward Road Gym, Dundee, everyone who wants to take part will need to be there at this time. The seminar will be £15 for children and £20 for adults. The grading will take place first with everyone starting the seminar together. The Children will be dismissed at approx 11.30am and Adults at approx 12.30am.

There is no class on Saturday 6th February due to the hall not being available. Miss Tate
